An elegant large bowl with a lovely form. The glaze is a warm cream with areas of satin and matte, and deeper ivory tones and a flash a blue acquired during the final firing. The foot of the piece is almost invisible and gives the impression the piece is floating a little above a surface.
Porcelain clay, thrown on the pottery wheel and fired to 2267 degrees. Each piece is one of a kind and every glaze is made from dry materials in my studio.
My work is primarily decorative, meant to be enjoyed by the eye and the heart. (The matte glazes can stain but are safe)
