Footless, nesting pieces. Separated, they will move and wobble with a light touch.
This unique set is composed of two different colored porcelains. No glaze, just bare, smooth porcelain in Deep Yellow and Chartreuse. The middle piece has a gold painted line "Kintsugi" style to highlight a small fissure that opened in the final firing, not structural but good character!
These bowls were fired rim down against the kiln shelf. As they shrink during firing the drag against the surface causes the pieces to go slightly out of round for a more organic, often geometric shaped rim.
