5.25"wide x 3.25"high. A taller bowl with an intense, matte turquoise glaze, while hard to capture in a photograph, has a bubbly, sparkly and velvety finish. This piece incorporates two of my glazes, a turquoise and a white, which amps the sparkly and adds areas of lightness. The white glaze is more evident in this piece as a puddle in the bottom and around the foot.
Like all my work it is porcelain, thrown on the pottery wheel and fired to 2267 degrees. Each piece is one of a kind and every glaze is made from dry materials in my studio.
My work is primarily decorative, meant to be enjoyed by the eye and the heart. (Not meant for food.)
