This piece is 4.75"wide x 5.25"high. A dynamic form with lovely lines and a tall foot. The glaze is a warm, matte cream with areas of blue acquired during the final firing. The blue flash on some of my white glazed work comes from the piece firing near another with manganese or cobalt in it's glaze.
My pieces are made from porcelain clay, thrown on the pottery wheel and fired to 2267 degrees. Each piece is one of a kind and every glaze is made from dry materials in my studio.
My work is primarily decorative, (the matte glazes can stain but are safe).
