An intriguing and beautiful form. The glaze is a warm cream with areas of satin and matte, and deeper ivory tones and a small flash of light blue acquired during the final firing. The foot of the piece is almost invisible and gives the impression the piece is floating a little above a surface.
Porcelain clay, thrown on the pottery wheel and fired to 2267 degrees. Each piece is one of a kind and every glaze is made from dry materials in my studio.
