3.25"wide x 1.75"high. A very dramatic small bowl. Glazed in my Crystalline White Matte glaze with a rim of manganese rich, Bronze glaze. There is so much movement and character in this piece and the black rim is full of glittery sparkle, striation and color, hard to capture in a photograph. A lovely blue flash melting into the white glaze under the black rim is a result of the manganese interaction.
The footless bowl with a round bottom will move and wobble with a light touch and not tip over. It is decorative and not meant for food, though a great place to store small things or just brighten up a spot in your home as a decorative piece.
The rim on this bowl is consistently round as it was fired on it's bottom.
